A short bit about cancer - You may have experience of dealing with cancer or you may know someone with cancer but there are over 200 types of cancer, the types of cancer vary but what they all have in common is where cell growth gets out of control and does not regenerate in the normal manner.  The cell growth of cancers we normally here of, tends to be rapid and may spread to other parts of the body.  Its the tumours/"bad cell growth" which leads to all the subsequent problems. In UK and Ireland roughly 1 in 3 will get cancer and 1 in 4 die from it.  Not trying to be too morbid, but take a room of 12 people, on average 4 will get cancer and 3 will die from it.  Cancer effects all age groups and countries around the world, in Northern Ireland alone (population 1.6 million) on average over 20 people a day are informed that they have cancer.

The cycle we do (planned to 2008, so far if there is enough people interested) is to raise awareness of the cancer charities and what they do, we would appeal to you to donate money anytime you can to them,  helping the charities to find cures for cancer and care for those they cannot cure.
