Years of Dedication
400 MILES ON 2 WHEELS FOR THE MARIE CURIE
NURSING SERVICE
Brothers
Philip and Robert Loughlin and Erwin Haslett are cycling from Mizen Head, the
souhern most point in Ireland, to Malin Head, the country's most northern point.
Their mission is to raise much needed funds for the Marie Curie Nursing Service.
The boys will begin
their 415 mile trek on Wednesday 13 August and plan to complete it 3 days later.
Marie Curie Cancer Care makes a real
difference to people's lives. The
Marie Curie Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year - they
spend a full eight hour shift with each patient in the comfort and privacy of
their own home usually overnight. This service is completely free to the patient
and their family.
The event is being organised by David
Clydesdale who will accompany the cyclists on their journey. The boys are trying
to raise as much money as possible
through sponsorship so please help them by telephoning 07866459986 or e-mail
info@mizen-malin.org or visit the web site www.mizen-malin.org.
