Nine cyclists are setting off from Mizen Head, the southern most point in Ireland, to Malin Head, the northern most point, to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The boys are setting off on Wednesday 7th August 2002 and have planned to reach their destination, 410 miles later, by the 10th August 2002. This daunting fundraiser has been organised by David Clydesdale who will accompany the cyclists on their journey. The party includes Joe Belton, Ewart Dennision, Ryan Dennision, Brian Greer, Erwin Haslett, Philip Loughlin, Robert Loughlin, Kieran McClelland and Manny McEvoy. The boys will be trying to raise as much sponsorship as possible and if you would like to contribute please contact them on 07866 459986, or e-mail info@mizen-malin.org, the web site is www.mizen-malin.org. Most families are touched by cancer. One in three of us will develop cancer at some stage in our lifetime - one in four of us will die from it. Marie Curie Nurses provide practical nursing care to patients with cancer in the comfort and privacy of their own home and give support to their families at a very difficult time. This service is free of charge to the family. So give the boys your support and help Marie Curie Cancer Care provide care for today and hope for tomorrow. Good luck to all the cyclists and happy pedalling! For more details contact Sandra Spence, Marie Curie Cancer Care on 028 8772 3989 Thursday 4th July 2002
