Day 1 - Newry to Arklow 16 July 2003

8:30am preparing to leave.
9:00am Started from Newry, the sun was shining as we left, weather good
sunshine and broken clouds.
Approx 1:25pm, near Balbriggan. Interview on BBC Radio Ulster
"Talk Back" programme with David Dunseith
7:45pm Arrived in Arklow
Derek and the group would like to thank those who have

Day 2 - Arklow to Youghal 17 July 2003
9:00am Left Arklow, weather once again was fine
7:45pm Arrived in Youghal
Derek and the group would like to thank those who have

outstanding and is greatly appreciated.
Day 3 - Youghal to Co Limerick 18 July 2003
9:00am Left Youghal in glorious sunshine
Change in route, will be travelling direct to Limerick. Unfortunately
we had to leave out the West Cork / Kerry Region from our trip. We would
like to thank those who donated to the Hospice.
11:00 Met the Lord Mayor of Cork City
Arrived in Limerick at 5:30pm

During late evening the rain started.
Day 4 - Co Limerick to Galway 19 July 2003
Arrived in Galway at 4:30pm
Met the Lord Mayor of Galway City

outstanding and is greatly appreciated.
Day 5 - Galway City 20 July 2003
Rest Day. Galway experienced some of the worst flooding in it history.
Day 6 - Galway to Sligo 21 July 2003
We met the Mayor of Sligo
Day 7 - Sligo to Coleraine/ Portrush 22 July 2003
Day 8 - Coleraine/ Portrush to Belfast 23 July 2003
Day 9 - Belfast to Banbridge 24 July 2003
Day 10 - Banbridge to Kilkeel 25 July 2003
Day 11 - Kilkeel to Newry 26 July 2003
It was good to get finished,
Just outside Warrenpoint, our first experience of "Road Rage", a
driver on the duel carriageway thought the tractor and trailer was a hazard, and
should not be on the road. I wonder what he would have been like on a
single carriageway road?
